Jazz with Connection Works

While working with my arranger for my latest jazz tune titled
Impossible Situations…
I ran to the subway on W. 14th to hop the #2 train and made it to Park Slope to hear jazz by Connection Works…It took less than twenty minutes from the city, and I arrived at Grand Army Plaza two blocks away is the new Brooklyn Conservatory Concert Hall at the corner of Lincoln Place and Seventh Ave. If you enjoy jazz, then this is where you can hear some of the most incredible musicians, five to exact, play with inspirational rhythm and although at times a bit on the abstract, they worked harmoniously to capture new sounds that for a $10.00 ticket, these guys had my head swinging, toes tapping while dreaming of places inspired to roam, a beautiful space and stage could easy pack more listeners yearning to hear creativity at it’s best. Daniel Kelly on piano was running his fingers across those black and white ebony keys, and drummer Rob Garcia is always in the pocket. Check out Connectionworks.org a non-profit organization that truly brings talent to the stage above and beyond what they collect.
There next gig is January 14, 2012
