Maia Nero has exhibited and signed her limited edition art posters at Art Expo and the International Beauty Show at the Jacob Javitz Center in New York City; she has had several exhibits her most recent is Soho Art, Spring Show, March 2014.

A 2014 Artists Residency at Lake George inspired a new technique working in watercolor oil pastels; which is a temporary departure from working in oils. However, the new medium allows for a range of versatility; broadening her skills, to layer and use the medium wet or dry while blending and being conscious of rendering additional detail. The Lake George mountain range inspired her color palette initiating new hues.
